Many thousands of people suffer every day with a number of conditions that sometimes are lumped under the category of "anxiety". The good new is that the treatment for these ailments may just be easier than you think.

Conditions such as OCD, panic disorder, social phobia, and agoraphobia can produce different results in different people as well as many of the same symptoms. Feelings of uneasiness, fear, compulsive behavior, etc can be the result of these disorders.

The reason for similar symptoms may be that the conditions results from the same process that the brain uses to put you into these "states".

The truth is there is no miracle involved - in fact quite the opposite. You see anxiety is caused by a switch in the brain. It turns 'on' when you need it an 'off' when the threat is over.

When you developed your anxiety disorder, the switch got stuck 'on'. Not by you consciously, no, by your subconscious, which made the decision that your new 'high' level of anxiety was the new 'normal' level.

Now that the decision has been made it stays that way until your subconscious receives different information and then it drops the level back to a normal state. There is a problem here though as you well know. That problem is that unlike other responses anxiety causes a great wide variety of of frightening sensations, thoughts and symptoms. Although these may be harmless they are nonetheless scary.

When you experience them, they reinforce the new anxiety setting, confirming to the brain that it is in fact correct. This causes a vicious cycle that prevents you from resetting your anxiety level.

Does this make sense? If it does continue, if it doesn't, read this again. This is vital to your understanding of your anxiety.

After seeing doctors, immunologists, psychiatrists, psychologists and a myriad of alternative health practitioners Linden decided that there was a solution and that he was going to find it.

Linden found that, hidden out there, getting on with their lives, symptom free, were people just like you, with one difference they are cured. He made a commitment to find the common denominator that they all used to return them to normal and flip that switch.

They all did the exact same thing. His methods are what he discovered as a result of finding some of those people and simply asking them a group of very searching questions; questions which pinpointed the behaviors and the activities that they were doing when their recovery started. He wanted to know what they did to become anxiety free. Was it medication? No, never. That was clear from the research. Was it psychology? No. So what was it?

Let's say there was a treatment that had been used by over 120,000 people with a 96% success rate. What if it used no drugs and in fact used a similar process to what caused the conditions to reverse them.

There is such a method and it is the Linden Method. It was developed by Charles Linden in order to reverse the conditions he had lived with for many years. He was house bound for many years with agoraphobia and several other disorders.

It should be clear by now that using a similar process to reverse the switch is truly the best method for addressing these disorders. Why use drugs and other medications when it is common sense that if you use a similar process it should work miraculously.

When he discovered the key to resetting his anxiety level and implemented it into his own life, changes started to happen immediately and they snowballed quickly. He decided to try these things with other sufferers, to test their effectiveness and having spent a few weeks giving it all structure and making it easy to understand, he gave away over a thousand copies through his original website.

Research conducted by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), relating to the creation and perpetuation of anxiety, concluded that the subconscious mechanism responsible for their formation can be corrected by the principles taught by The Linden Method.

Not one thing, but a chance group of activities, coupled with a group pf realizations about anxiety. What happens is that life circumstances, beliefs, life experiences and behaviors change as we go through life.

At times these events can create, by chance, the environment that may cause changes in your anxiety level. They do happen so very rarely by chance and the disorder suffers are by nature scared and guarded, which causes them to strictly focus on their own symptoms which keeps them from projecting out into the world, to their families and to life in general.

A few days later the emails started to roll in. Letters of thanks, debts of gratitude from folks just like him who had begun to experience the same dramatic changes that he had gone through. Linden's agoraphobia just melted away and it had kept him housebound for over 4 years. He lost weight, got off his medications, started looking and feeling healthy and resumed a normal life again.

It is now clear and documented that the Linden Method focuses on the cause of anxiety, which has an immediate effect with permanent results.
